ABOUT gia
Gia Chacón is a human rights advocate, writer, and the founder of For the Martyrs, a leading voice advocating for persecuted Christians around the world.
Her work has taken her across the Middle East and other hotspots of religious persecution, where she has met with survivors, supported vulnerable communities, and documented the realities faced by Christians targeted for their faith.
Her leadership also propelled March for the Martyrs into a national movement—mobilizing Americans to stand in solidarity with the suffering Church and elevating the stories of modern-day martyrs.
As a communicator on global persecution, religious freedom, and international affairs, Gia has been featured across major media outlets and is a sought-after speaker for conferences, universities, and faith organizations.
Gia’s on-the-ground projects have ranged from supporting families rebuilding after ISIS, to coordinating aid for displaced Christian communities, to facilitating interfaith outreach and youth programs that promote dignity and resilience. These experiences inform her advocacy.
Across her writing, speaking engagements, and media interviews, Gia brings together firsthand testimony and clear-eyed global analysis.
Her voice challenges audiences to confront the realities many Christians endure today—and inspires a renewed hope that courage, solidarity, and faith can change the story for those who need it most.
