Gia Chacon began her volunteer humanitarian efforts in the year 2017. She has traveled to Central America, East Africa, and as far as the Middle East. She has worked with victims of hurricanes, natural disasters, hunger crisis, and refugees of war and persecution.
“I believe it is our duty to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to serve the poor, the hungry, and the marginalized. I consider it a great privilege to do the work I have done, and hope to continue in this work into the future.
You don’t have to go overseas to make an impact on society. I encourage you to start in your neighborhood or city. There is need everywhere, ask God to give you the eyes to see it, and the wisdom to make a difference within your means.” – Gia Chacon
